Product details
MYDay is the first daily disposable on the market to be made from Smart Silicone, CooperVision’s own exclusive material. This new technology takes the benefits from both hydrogel and silicone hydrogel lenses to offer a unique level of comfort and clarity for daily disposable wearers.
The Smart Silicone material allows more oxygen to reach your eyes while reducing the amount of silicone used. This is important, because less silicone keeps these lenses soft while still providing an outstanding level of moisture to your eyes. This keeps them free from irritation throughout the day without the need for any eye drops.
To enhance this further, MYDay lenses also offer an advanced design with a smooth lens surface and rounded edge. Not only does this feel much more natural, allowing your eyelids to glide easily over the surface of the lens, but it also makes putting them in and taking them out much easier.
Protecting your eyes from the sun is important and the eye care professionals at CooperVision understand this, that’s why they’ve added UV blocking technology. MyDay shields the eyes from up to 85% of UV-A and 96% of UV-B. However, it’s worth noting that MyDay are not a substitute for a good pair of sunglasses but rather a good addition.

Oxygen permeability (Dk/t)![]() It indicates the amount of oxygen which passes through the lens. The oxygen permeability is an key indicator of the lens material. It determines how much oxygen (which is necessary for proper performance) receives a cornea of our eyes. The higher the value, the better. Dk/t is common used and it states: the Dk per thickness of the lens. Usually for a lens at -3.00D, which makes it easier to compare different lenses brands. Ranges from 10-20 Dk/t to over 170 Dk/t. | 100 |
