SofLens Toric lenses, produced by Bausch and Lomb, are designed to help those with astigmatism deal with their condition. Using a high-tech low torque design, these SofLens Toric lenses are extremely stable on the eye, resulting in a comfortable fit and excellent vision.
The advanced Toric shape of the SofLens lens ensures that your astigmatism is perfectly corrected. Light is focused directly at to the back of your eye, providing pixel perfect vision no matter the distance.
Each lens is also made with Aphafilcon A, a material which allows the lens to retain moisture and sit easily and comfortably on the eye for a much more comfortable experience. The Performa surface of each lens will even repel dirt from the lens, ensuring a healthy flow of oxygen reaches they eye at all times.
These lenses are designed to be worn over a month, meaning that they can be worn for 30 days before replacement. During this time, they will need regular cleaning to prevent the build-up of dirt or proteins on the lens surface.

It indicates the amount of oxygen which passes through the lens. The oxygen permeability is an key indicator of the lens material. It determines how much oxygen (which is necessary for proper performance) receives a cornea of our eyes. The higher the value, the better. Dk/t is common used and it states: the Dk per thickness of the lens. Usually for a lens at -3.00D, which makes it easier to compare different lenses brands. Ranges from 10-20 Dk/t to over 170 Dk/t.
